[CoL] Cows become unhappy and leave too quickly

I have a Sim dedicated to being a friend of animals.  She even randomly gives love to the chickens.  And whenever a cow or llama is out, I am sure they are clean and spoil them with treats.  My problem is, once in a while I get the message saying my cow or llama is unhappy and wants to leave.  The reason this is a problem for me, is that the shed is Clean, the Feed is Full, and the sheds are completely upgraded (auto feeder, etc).  I have to manually call them out of the shed and they end up being dirty, unhappy, and starving.  Why are they not eating or staying clean when the shed is providing them with everything they need.  They seem disconnected from the sheds, even though they are living in them and rarely come out.  Has anyone else run into this issue?  I don't use mods, but own several expansions.

    I didn't see the form, so I copied it from another bug:

    Product: The Sims 4
    Platform: Mac
    Which language are you playing the game in? English
    How often does the bug occur? Often with my current game
    What is your current game version number? 
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Several, including Country Living and Seasons
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a household with a shed.  Buy a cow.  It might occur more in the rain or snow when the animal is not coming out of the shed often, but I've had the message more than that.
    What happens when the bug occurs? Message comes up saying animal is unhappy and will leave soon if not cared for
    What do you expect to see? Animal should be fed, clean, and happy
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Not sure.  I played this household more when the anniversary event started so maybe then?
