House/Apt furniture gone after NPCs die

can something be done about the fact that when NPC die the house/apartment they lived in automatically becomes and unfurnished lot. It makes the setting of having vacant lots filled automatically a bit redundant if said lots are just shell houses. Why are dead sims taking the furniture with them to the afterlife?

    @LiLiPuff86 Yeah it is super annoying. Unfortunately, there isn't a setting that can be used to prevent it. I will sometimes save the houses to my gallery so I can just plop them back down every once and a while (this does fill up the gallery though) or will sometimes use MCCC's evict elders cheat so elders don't die on the lot, therefore the stuff stays in place most of the time. If you are using another simmers save file, they often upload their builds to their gallery and you can just download the houses again so that helps too.

    @LiLiPuff86 There's a bug with this but they aren't actually empty. Did you check in build mode and the furniture is gone there too ?
