Household doesn’t have option to cook on stove and menu grayed out

Today when I played the sims I noticed when I clicked on a stove it didn’t have the option to cook. The fridge had all the options but when I clicked “cook”, everything was grayed out except city liv...

@auhsharria Hello I am currently having this same issue within my game where I can’t cook. I was wondering if you ever figured out how to fix it?

@Maniiix1_ Are you play with the simple living lot challenge ? If so, then you need the ingredients to cook.

  I have the same issue. Most meals are greyed out. I have enough room on countertops, i dont have simple living lot trait, i have "use fresh ingredients" turned off, the right levels etc and nothing will work! i dont know what to do
