How do i become a witch in the sims 4????

I've just gotten the pack realm of magic to my game. I've tried for so long to make my sim turn into a witch, but it never works! I've read that you are supposed to talk to one of the sages and the interaction "ask about magic" will show up, but it never does! I've been spamming friendly interactions non-stop, but nothing comes up! Please help!
