how do you fast que tasks?

im getting sick of having to click the sim then click the bubble i want, and then have to click sim and bubble i want again.

or opening mass loads of seed packs, one by one. clicking the pack then going up to click open. and repeat 99 times.

cant i just hold down a button when selecting a task so that after i select the task the task bubbles stay up?

like other games have shift + click to do stuff like that,

@PugLove888 Thanks for the tips and answers! Yes... I think a compost pile to make fertilizer for the gardens/gardening upgrades would be awesome! I have some serious gardeners with big greenhouses and that would be a great option to add to the back corner of the lot!

@BlackjackWidow ...Now that's one I haven't done yet. What do you breed frogs for? Is there a career or something that encourages/uses it as a skill or anything like that - or just for fun? Just curious.

As @PugLove888 mentioned, I'm mainly doing it to complete the frog collection. "Breed 5 frogs" is also a step in the Curator Aspiration.  After reading the breeding chart on Carl's Guide to Frog Breeding, I've found it a lot faster to just breed a frog every 4 hours, rather than running all over the place looking for them. (a note on the guide; needs to be updated because there's no option to find frogs in ponds anymore, which made me sad).

I like frogs: you can sell the rare ones to give you a decent amount Simoleans when you're "young and poor"; they give a +3 decorating moodlet basically for free; they're great bait for fishing, especially in the hidden areas; and the ones worth more than $100 make exceptional fertilizer. They interface really well with the gardening and fishing aspirations, as well as the curator one, all of which I've been trying out since I started playing a couple of weeks ago.

@SheriGR Does dog poop turn into a trash plant if it's left on the ground? Just curious, I don't have anything but the base game so wouldn't have a way to test. It would be pretty realistic if it does - well, as realistic as a trash plant lol.

@BlackjackWidow Thank you for all the froggy information! Great stuff to know, as I have some serious gardener households! 🙂

@BlackjackWidow I will leave this for others to maybe comment on... do you know @PugLove888 ? I have always had a maid, and sometimes a butler, and between that and my sims I am not sure if the poops have laid there long enough to test this thoroughly. On the other hand, I have fenced in areas with doggie doors and use the same two potty-trained dogs in the homes where I have dogs, and they definitely poop on their own where I have discovered festering stinky poo at a door/area where it was not seen/cleaned up, and it was just sitting there stinking. Though I cannot confirm how long poo has been left sitting in my sims' yards, I can say that I have never seen a trash plant that had randomly appeared in their yards,  so my guess would be no. If you ignore it, though, one of the sims will inevitably walk through the poo and be disgusted that it's stuck to their shoe. At least there's that. Lol!  😃:eahigh_file: 😉

@BlackjackWidow, that is a good question! 🤨 I don't really know 🤔, as I've never watched the poo, but it would warrant looking into.  But without testing it, I agree with @SheriGR that I don't think it will spawn a trash plant.  Sheri you could test it if you are curious.  (Or if you don't have time I could test it. -- or for that matter anyone reading this can test it if they want … but I'm sure many people would rather avoid this one! 🤒😃:eahigh_file: )  😉

It's just one of those things that popped into my head lol. If no one has ever seen it happen yet, I would guess that it doesn't. If I ever Cats & Dogs, I'll try it out & report back. I agree, most probably would rather avoid 😀
