I just started the game after installing the patch, created a new save and began to download houses from my library - houses that I have created myself. But every time I place a house on a lot that I built using the bb.moveobjects cheat the game shows a green notification in the notification wall that says the following:"The lot was created using the "Move Objects" cheat. As a result, some objects may be located in positions that are inaccessible by your Sims. (...)"I have never seen this notification before. And I am aware I am using lots created with bb.moveobjects. I created them myself.Is there a way to turn this notification off? I tried to turn off "enable help tips" as well as "online notifications" in the settings, but none of this worked. Even when I turn on bb.moveobjects before I place the lot/house the notification still appears.I don't even know whether this is intended or a bug. It is very annoying though and I'd like to get rid of it if possible. I am making a new "world renovation" save and will place A LOT of houses and lots from my library in a row that all have been built using this cheats.

So I am having this same issue but my move objects cheat is on and it’s not recognizing it. Every time I download a build house from library it’s notifying me it was built with move objects and some things may be moved but no option to turn MOO on although it already is on and should be adding the house as seen in the gallery! I am trying to download underwater houses from the gallery and none of them are showing up as they should aka non of them are underwater and who knows what else cause it looks so different! I check to make sure my MOO is on beforehand!

I get this notification even if it's something that I built without MOO for test purposes. 😞

@momo04084 That's yet another bug... or more correctly, an oversight?They didn't bother to put any checks in it. If the lot was created with MOO, then it will display the warning. It makes no difference whether you have MOO on or not, it will still display the warning.What they should do is put some actual ERROR checking in their code. If you have MOO on, don't display a useless warning. If it's not on, give the player the option of placing it with MOO on. (temporarily)

Hey everyone! It seems like there might be some confusion about what actually happens and the reason for the move objects (MOO) notification. Originally, you would not be able to place a MOOed lot until you turned on the cheat. However, a while ago, the Sims team updated the game to allow lots built with MOO to be placed without having to turn on the cheat. They also added the notification to warn folks that something in the lot was placed with MOO. It doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with the lot that needs to be fixed, only that it's possible, since MOO placement can sometimes cause routing issues. Most creators on the gallery will mention if they used MOO but not everyone does. Also, there are base game lots that were built using MOO. So I, personally, am glad to have this notification. I don't have to turn on MOO to place any lot. Yet, it lets me know when I place a lot that I might want to double check for any issues. Hope this helps!

Ah I see, thanks. I'd still prefer to have the option to turn it off. Maybe they'll add it one day. If you place a lot of houses having this notification popping up all the time is a bit annoying. Sigh.

The pictures of houses underwater may be a mod either on the uploaded picture or on the game of the person who uploaded it. This seems especially likely since the Sims team added an update that automatically turns moveobjects on when you download a lot created using the cheat. So it's likely the issue is something unrelated.

@NaodyrHere's the issue. I've seen gorgeous homes for download only to find that I can't get into a bed, can't cook (some object is blocking it but moveobjects ignores the conflict) or rooms are so jam-packed that it's practically impossible to use them. All of this means that the person who downloads the lot now has to alter it so that it's entirely functional.

I appreciate all the work you put in but that's the reason for the warning. The game has no way to know which lots are fully functional and which need to be fixed.

Lol.

Even with MOO on, there are still a phenomenal number of houses that simply aren't playable. Most players design their houses to "look pretty", not to actually be played.

I tend to stay away from houses on the gallery unless it's an interesting design and I don't mind putting in hours of work fixing it.
Between most houses pathing being blocked by something "pretty", and hidden basements with super-expensive stuff just to drive up the price "Look at my Million Dollar lot!"... most lots on the gallery aren't worth it.

I have that EXACT same problem!! I downloaded someone's build and I needed to move some of the items due to the bb.moveobjects cheat not being recognised as being ON! I then saved the build I MODIFIED/corrected in my library and downloaded that with bb.moveobjects on and it still came up saying i needed to enable it before i PLACED the lot, even though i DID! Now i have to re-fix ALL the objects which have been moved!!

It doesn't seem to be working even if it is AUTOMATICALLY APPLIED! It still comes up and i CANT be bothered to fix EVERY house I download just because EA CANT be BOTHERED to fix the problem after SO LONG!
