I repaired my sims game then created a new ea folder and added my tray files, saves, and mods and when I pressed new game everything worked but when I tried to go to an existing game I couldn't open Newcrest. I think it might have to do with a bad save file but I tried taking them out and adding them in one by one and it still doesn't work. Newcrest stopped loading when I tried to have a sim purchase a lot/build from Newcrest after getting for rent. The game didn't acknowledge that my sim purchased the lot/build and I haven't been able to load Newcrest since. I press the world and it just shows a white screen, to exit it I have to exit to the main menu. Do you have any suggestions for fixing it?

Would you be willing to share your save with me ?
If so, please zip your saves folder and upload it somewhere like dropbox, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link. I looked at your saves and finally found the one that had the white screen issue. Unfortunately your issue doesn't seem related to residential rentals like other saves.
Do you own the pack at all ? Did you ever try to build one in that save ?
The pack world does load when I disable the pack so it must be residential rental related but since I don't see any in that world, I'm a bit at loss atm.
I own for rent and tried to buy a lot I had already built on. Which save is bad?
I could open all the worlds except for rent.
I also disabled for rent, but the build I had my sim try to purchase wasn't there. It didn't even show that there was a lot there (in Newcrest). I just want to recover my build and don't know how.
- @4272445841257445 The one I testest that gave me a white screen in newcrest as you described is My Saved Game 1 27,11,2024 (Slot_0000000b.save). Did you try building a residential in that save in newcrest ?
yes, all my builds in Newcrest are residential.
@4272445841257445 Is that backup you have far from what you have played on ? I would just continue there. Only other option I find is to disable For rent and save it that way but you'll loose all content from that in that save.
It's really odd cause I can't find any residential rentals in Newcrest in your save.
It might be because I didn't change the lot type from residential to residential rental.
- @4272445841257445 yeah but the world is still broken and remove the pack solves it. So really not sure what's going on in your save.
Are you ok to reverting to the version that works ? removing for rent removes the build and even when I re-enabled for rent with my sim in Newcrest the build doesn't show. Would anyone else know how to get me at least so I can save the build and place it in a new world?
@4272445841257445 I'm still unsure which save you actually have a residential rental on in Newcrest.
Did you at any point take any screenshots what the house you're trying to recover looks like ? Do you remember which lot you build it on ?Here's a screenshot of one of the saves that loads. Did you build anywhere else after that ?
