i can’t move graves out of a crypt!

hi! so i’ve been playing a legacy save and created a cemetery lot and put all of my previous families’ pets’ graves in the crypt. some of them have been in there for a good while, to the point where the graves no longer have a name for the mourn option, but when i wanted to take them out to add them to my sims’ inventory and then their lot, it won’t let me move the graves from the crypt, but i can open the inventory and see them. any idea how to solve this? anyone? i have mods in my game but they’re all up to date and even when taking them out there’s no issue!
