I can't sell potions

I downloaded a magic shop from the gallery and bought it as a retail store with my sim. Tweaked some things and got it ready, set the benefit and put stuff for sale.

Now, everything seems to be working fine except the potions. I can understand the ones that were already in the shop not selling, so I threw them out and put some of mine instead. No option to sell them still.

My sim is a witch and has been making several potions before I bought the shop, so she has a good bunch in her inventory... but I can't sell those either.

There is no option to put them on sale at the shop and I can't sell them straight from the inventory either (says item can not be sold).

Now, I have noticed that if I place her things on the floor she won't pick them up because they're not her property? I am absolutely confused, I just want to sell potions.

    I actually posted before going to bed, so I haven't had the chance. I have some newly made potions in the inventory that I can't sell at all —I get a message saying the item can't be sold— but I will trash those and try to make yet another batch and see if anything changes.

    I will sell the cauldron and replace that too, maybe that's the problem?

    I will update this evening with the results.

    Update:

    I got into build mode and sold all my potions and the cauldron (it was the only way, as I kept getting a message saying they couldn't be sold not deleted), replaced the cauldron and went back to life mode.

    I had my sim make a batch of a new potion in the new cauldron: It works fine now. I think the problem here was the game thinking my stuff wasn't mine for some reason.

    PD: I play vanilla btw, don't have any mods in this computer.

    @Aeyriah Did you move at all with the stuff or just bought the lot ?

    There's an issue with ownership and moving.
