I missed the date to claim sims 4 compensation

As we know, the sims 4 base game has been free now since Oct 18th. For compensation, from September 14 through October 17, all players who have purchased The Sims 4 base game will receive the Desert Luxe Kit as a gift. I missed the date because at that time, I didn't play and paid attention to the sims 4. Can anybody help me? I want to claim it though it doesn't fair when you buy the base game for $60 and only get $5 for compensation. Thankyou
