@RonneeSimmer , heck yeah, Seasons is awesome! I love this pack! Even the base game worlds look amazing in the snow. It's like all of my worlds have been multiplied by four as they look and feel so different as the seasons change, or even just by the day-to-day changes in the weather. I never turn off the weather effects as some of the results they have on Sims can be quite hilarious. The game has great sound and lighting effects for the different types of weather. You can even hear geese flying south for the winter! Lots of great details like that. Ice skating and hot cocoa in the winter, or roller skating and lemonade in the summer, both are pretty cool. Plenty of holiday decor items for all seasons too. I'm very pleased with how the seasons seem to change gradually instead of like someone flicking a big switch somewhere with everything changing instantly. For example, early Spring feels much different than late Spring. Some of the worlds have cold, harsh winters and others are kinda mild, but then again the summers in those can get really toasty. Great variety all around there. I like to have really long seasons, while others like to have them short, or somewhere in between. You get to pick & can change it any time you want.
Oh and btw, unlike Sims 3, not all plants go dormant in the winter, so no worries there. In fact that is when some of them are most active. All the seasons have a nice variety of plants that are active. I usually play Sims who are year-round gardeners and I like to have them rotate their crops as the seasons change, just to keep things more interesting. Each season my garden has a completely different look. Even seed packs are available in seasonal varieties. And yeah I also make greenhouses for some plants I want year-round, plus as a place to put a flower arranging table and a woodworking bench... and for some reasons my cats seem to like hanging out in there (even Sims cats are weird). Well I don't want to add too many spoilers here but you'd definitely have LOTS of fun with gardening in Seasons.
