I have 11 large masterpieces in a 4x6 room and the moodlet is still not beautifully decorated, even though I used to get it with less than 6 paintings before the new patch. Is something broken, do I have to re-paint all my wall decor, or...?I was initially using mods, but I removed them all, yet the issue has not gone away. I also read the new update notes and I could not see anything about changing this. Help? I have a huge house full of self-painted art where all the rooms had beautifully decorated moodlet. D:

@LadyDarkSorrow Nicely Decorated (+1) is the highest I've been able to get since the June 3rd patch no matter how many paintings I've added to a room. The new setting in Game Options does not seem to matter whether I have it turned on or off. I'm still trying to figure out if there is some kind of trick to this whole thing.

@RandomBuzziness I tried turning off that option, as did @Jomamacita, but I wasn't able to make it work, and apparently neither did they. :-( I hope this is an actual bug and they fix it because I spent so long decorating my rooms so that they were beautifully decorated without being too crowded.

@LadyDarkSorrow It might be a bug. Please check this Bug Report to see if any of this is happening in your game. I know a Eco Pack coming out soon that deals with the new Environment stuff, after the patch I have noticing my Sim was under a Painting has Environment 10 and next to Sculpture " Knight of the Octagon" has Environment 10 as well. walls was already have Minor Environment Gain 2 and Eco Footprint 2. before patch, I had Beautiful Decoration +3 on my Sim. now she gets Nicely +1 ? is the game counting on the Painting and Sculptures and other Decoration then just the Walls?Confuse Simmer here

Is the "beautifully decorated" moodlet broken?

@Valentinator8 My rooms that said "beautifully decorated" before the update now just say decorated.

@Valentinator8 It's because of the update. Different objects, including walls, floors, etc. affect the environment in different ways and can add to or subtract from environment score. You can turn it off in the gameplay menu if you like.

@Jomamacita lol well that's sad, then! Hopefully we'll get answers eventually. It'll be a bummer to lose all those hours painting masterpieces.

Same issue. Rooms that are part of styled rooms collection(in build mode) now show up as nicely decorated. Instead of beautifully decorated?

I know, what I'm asking if the Environment Effects from Decoration such as Painting. Sculptures, ect, being applied to the Environment Points?
or, if Decorations are no longer valid and those items became useless and junk?

As I understand it, most things in a room will count for environmental effects including the wall coverings and floors. Some existing things have changed values from what they were. So there will be some differences we all have to get used to.

@CGrant56 yes, that helps. so to be sure on this. any paintings, sculptures under the Decorations tab, says Environment 1-10 is not given perfect Values like they did before.
