Is there an option to upload to gallery but make it private? So, this way only certain people (like friends) can download the shared lots?

There may be other ways but that is one, and how can that be patched out? It can't without it realising it's exactly the same, and even then you could change something miniscule about it to get round it.
I still don't see how this gets around it? Shouldn't plonking the lot down keep the creator name, no matter how much stuff they adjust?
@khitteh They can bypass the original author's name by placing the lot in the world and re-saving it to their library. This clears out the original author's name.

This clears out the original author's name.Okay that's weird, because in my game if I place a lot then resave it to my library, the lot has my name at top saying "By" and then under that says "Original By" with the person's name I downloaded it from.
Which should keep their name if I uploaded it to gallery right?
