Issues with going downstairs

My sims can’t go downstairs and I don’t know why!! I’ve been trying to move stuff around, I’ve deleted the stairs and put new stairs and I restarted the game :/ Does anyone know why this is happening? I’ve attached pics of the frustrating stairs
