L&D - Sims Can't Move Onto the Great Beyond

Question

The option to 'move onto the great beyond' is greyed out for all my ghost sims when clicking on their tombstone, no matter that their soul's journey has progressed enough to allow it to happen (i.e., they have met the no regrets reward tier). Rewards further along the soul's journey still work (such as pass down + rebirth).

I made a test sim in a different save and cheated their souls journey to the highest level, but the option was still greyed out. Again, rebirth was still an option. This is still happening even after removing all my mods. Any ideas?

Did you have the ghost sim click on the tombstone themselves? I think that it has to be the played ghost themself that clicks on their tombstone.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and testing in a new save game file and see if the issue remains.

Is completing this tier supposed to reward the sim with a hidden trait?

I think that might be my issue if so, but whatever I do (e.g., testing on a new save, using mods/ cheats to add traits, removing all mods) I can't seem to get the trait to come up (if it exists -- it seems the other tiers have traits though?).
