life and death

Since installing Life and Death, my sim constantly gets stuck in a glitch where she's moving side to side, time stops, and I can't interact with anything. I initially narrowed it down to interactions with the crow triggering it, but she just tried to speak to Alice and it happened again. After it happens the game is unsavable and has to be manually closed via task manager and won't save.
