Likes/dislikes should be in the sim profile panel

Since we have gotten likes and dislikes now, shouldn't it matter when I ask friends their favorite colour/music taste/activity? Personally, I do not remember all my sims' likes/dislikes. We have a whole sim profile thing that we got with the Snowy Escape free update... Shouldn't the interactions and answers be logged there? It feels like all we got were more social interactions, with NO affect socially. When you learn a sim's favorite colour, it gives you a notification and then it disappears forever...
