Is this when you first go to CAS with your Sim ? If you want to edit it later you need the cas.fulleditmode cheat.
The zoom is not a bug. That was added a couple patches ago.

What I meant was that the camera in Cas zooms into the hands when I click on the accessories button when it’s supposed to just do that when you click on the fingernails button
No, it now zooms with all accessory but you can just zoom back out with the mouse wheel: Accessories zoom | EA Forums - 11937806 (They fixed the zooming out part).
