Live Mode is Completely Grey

Whenever I enter live mode, everything turns grey except for things inside a building/room. Also, if I open the settings menu, it looks weird, like no graphics options are selected; however, clicking...

    I just re-set all my options manually, everything works now! Thank you

Does it go back to normal if you remove the options file again ? Maybe something is corrupt about it so just re-set all your options manually.
