Loading family kicks back to world map

1. yes the game will launch , i don't get any error codes and it loads all the way into the welcome screen 
2. not sure . if i try to click into a save it only takes me to world map and won’t let me into the actual game 
3. every single save old , current , and new . 
4. yes i use mods . when i take my mods out it loads , i click into a save , take me to world map, i click into household , and then it infinitely loads . with mods it does all that except it’ll keep loading me back to world map instead ( 1. yes but worse ) (2. yes - 1. yes ) (3. yes . - 1. yes ) 

 

the only thing the game will allow me to do is make sims using the new game feature !
