Major infant crib bug?

Hi, I was playing the Sims 4 tonight and I came across a very annoying bug. when my sims wants to take her baby out of her crib. All sims in the household freeze, I can't change sims anymore, they don't work anymore. resetsim also no longer works and when I go to build it no longer works as it should. I also can't get to the main menu anymore because the game stays on the loading screen forever. the only thing that works is closing the game and restarting are there more people experiencing this bug?
it doesn't happen all the time. I've had it twice now, I hope someone knows a solution.
