I have Sims 4 for the PC and I have been struggling with learning how to Mentor people with the Mentor skill I just bought for one of my sims. Can anyone help me out? I currently only have cooking and comedy maxed out right now.
The easiest way to mentor I found is to be maxed out in that skill and have the instrument readily available and can control at least 2 sims, to let the sim that needs mentoring to practice with the violin, then the other sim can mentor
Hello, @CharacterJ4515 ! so, basically you need satisfaction points to get the mentor Trait, if you already have it, go to a sim, and press mentor in the friendly option. If you dont have the trait, use the cheat Sims.Give_satisfaction_points # cheat, then go to the reward store, and scroll till you see the "Mentor" then purchase it. then bam, you have it.
@Breeannafillmore The mentor trait can only be used when that Sim's skill level is maxed out. Your Sim can only mentor an other Sim when there is a difference in skill levels. For instance my Sim has the highest skill of guitar playing. Only then he/she can mentor a sim with a skill level of 9 or less. As soon as a Sim reaches the highest skill level there is no option available in the friendly category to mentor an other sim.
