more ideas for sims 4

@MsSamLStory  glad you're enjoying it!  I would be totally lost without the mods I do use,  must admit and it's usually a quick process to check at update time, unless its an unusually large update. 

Totally agree with the mods being connected to packs,  pretty standard for many of them.. in fact mamy mods are pack specific, including cc for different packs.  Was about to try out the mod for "seasons/weather" everywhere,  for Sulani also, as may be fun. 

A lot of people on the sims group would like to have a farm pakkage for the sims 4.

With:

-farming,

-milking cows,

-collect eggs,

-horseriding,

-sheep's for wool and

-barns.

And maybe also things you can do with the wool, spinning the wool and make your own clothes. Making cheese and butter with the milk. Plowing your land with a tractor or a workinghorse. Bigger plots to harvest more vegetables or potatoes. 

@PugLove888 Woah, thats true! I just remember it lol. That will be a nice update, a lot of people ask that in the comment section of the Youtube video I attached before. But so far, it doesn't annoy me so much and that isn't on my top wishlist tho.

Get to Work seems like a very nice expansion pack with the active career. Some Build/Buy objects also quite interesting. But an Alien that can pregnant a sims is a biggest NOPE 😂. I do hope there's an option to turn off/on supernatural things.

Yeah, major things like making TS4 become open world is impossible now. There's too much to do. And by making it open world, developers need to model every single things in the world, mountains, terrains, apartment in San Myshuno, all those 2D images need to be 3D object in open world. And I can't imagine how laggy it is with so many apartment.

To avoid lag, developer are forced to make the city less crowded, less skycrapper and that means, less beautiful and vibrant the San Myshuno become.

Oh, I will still be happy with cars even it can't be driven around like TS3. One thing I LOVE in this game is building! I enjoy building so much. I will be very glad to add some cars to my build. I hate using toy cars and resize it bigger because toy cars object are less detailed and making it bigger just like making it worse.

Wow! 30 seconds to 2 minutes seems long. Mine only 10-15 seconds loading screen. But if I open Gallery too many times, later the game can't be closed and it will require force shutdown.

Don't get me wrong lol 😂. While I hate occult/supernatural so much, I'm okay with mermaid and magic-themed. It's funny that I believe in life exist outside this planet, But I hate to see alien in The Sims game, I think the biggest turn off is alien can kidnap and pregnant other sims. I also hate Vampire because I heard they may show up in your door and try to convert you (not sure what they mean, convert to vampire?).

As long as alien & vampire didn't show up outside their world (Sixam & Forgotten Hollow), wizard & witches didn't mess other worlds, I'm okay with it.

@speemarieke, yes!  I would love all those things in my game :eahigh_file:. I forgot about making cheese though, so thanks for mentioning it! ❤️  And with spinning your own wool from sheep you could then weave it or knit or crochet with it!   I mostly crochet, but I do knit and do a bit of decorative weaving on a small loom!  I need a different type of loom to weave for clothing!  And one of my friends spins her own yarn with wool and other fibers she buys online!  Her spinning wheel is even portable! 😎

I was thinking that if they make a farm pack they could add some weather types for people who have Seasons: drought, flood, and hail storm!  There could also be insect infestations (like grasshopper or locust plagues!)  You could choose to either have an organic farm or one that uses modern chemicals.  etc. 

@MonkeyButts99 Yes, I was afraid that people would take a call to spam EA or the Sims community seriously, which is why I asked the Original Poster that saying that wasn't a good idea.  They didn't mean anything sinister by it -- they were just exaggerating in a funny manner, but didn't' realize that someone might take it seriously.  😞🤭  

@Psychotpsand @AndyZhang2896 , I think a lot of newcomers to TS4 might be confused as to why TS4 did things so differently than TS3. In some cases they might not even know that TS3 had some of the features that they are asking for.  That is why I try my best to explain such things.  I feel like a broken record because I keep saying the same thing over and over, but I feel that it is important enough to explain, so I keep explaining! 😃

I think that TS4 struck a good balance between the totally closed world of TS2 and the totally open world of TS3.  The only thing that I personally wish they would change is that if you are in a neighborhood like one of the ones in Willow Creek, for example, you should still be able to visit all your neighbors in that little area of Willow Creek that you can roam around in without having to go to a loading screen.  Not that the loading screen takes long, it is just that it seems silly to have to access one in order to go next door. 😉  I think that might be more along the lines of what you were talking about, @Psychotps 😇

@AndyZhang2896, yes building in TS4 is easier than it was in TS3! :eahigh_file:  I just wish we could make split-level houses and have more staircase types.. Even if we get spiral stairs next month, we still will need L-shaped and switchback (U-shaped) stairs! A great many real-life houses have L and U shaped stairs so we need them in the game.  I would also love ladders, but that isn't as important (but if we get a farm pack, barns would need ladders for the hay lofts.... 🤔... hmmm! 😇

It usually doesn't take me 2 minutes for a loading screen in TS4.  But it did once so I included that as a maximum time!  The one time it took that long was my fault since I had a bunch of internet tabs open in my browser which slowed my computer down.  🤭  After that, I close them down and haven't had any problems! :eahigh_file:  Yours also doesn't take as long as 30seconds because you don't have all the packs loaded.  😉

Yes, the Aliens kidnap you, but they don't breed with you … it is really just a surgical implantation of an Alien baby.. Still invasive, but in a different way.  Of course, since we can't accompany our Sim on the spaceship, for all we know they could agree to such an experiment.  🤨  

Vampires in the game don't show up on your door to "convert" you.  They will only do that if you ask them to! And yes, that means convert into another vampire.  But Vampires in the game do show up at your door, but they only want to drink your blood for a meal, they never turn you into one of them.  So if a Vampire shows up at my Sims door, I don't let them in!   They do occasionally break in where they drink form your Sim when they are asleep, but they have cut the number of these break ins down a lot! It is much rarer than it used to be! 🙂

@PugLove888 Yeah, it's kinda silly when it requires loading when visiting another lot in the same neighborhood. It's just too much loading. Since the open world is impossible now, I hope at least they remove loading screen in the neighborhood. I realize how silly it is when my sims live at Bargain End, get loading screen when visiting Garden Essence (Summer Holiday's house).

Maybe you already know this foundation trick to split level. And yeah, this one isn't flexible. It's impossible to put 2 rooms with different height side by side, there should be at least 1 tiles apart. I'm sure what everyone wants, including me, is able to put it close together.

I open twitter this afternoon and Sim Guru Frost has announced we will get new CAS & Build Buy items! I wish spiral staircase is included, even some say no spiral stair in this update 😞

Yeah, I also want to have L-shaped, U-shaped, and half-circle staircase.

@AndyZhang2896, yes that is similar to what I mean by split-level!  The split levels I'm talking about are more like a half-story up or down, often built into the side of a hill.  While the picture you showed is more like a sunken area, it is still a step in the right direction! 🙂  I have several of these in my Library that I downloaded from the Gallery. 😎

As for the update, we only have to wait a few more days. And just because some say they doubt there will be spiral stairs , doesn't mean they are right!  He said CAS and Build/Buy Mods objects, which staircases are part of !  When asked a few days ago about any new stairs, and especially spiral ones, he didn't say "no" like many Gurus have before (like when Get Famous was released and people asked if we were getting cars with that update or pack).  Instead he acted like my mom always used to if I would try to find out what my birthday present was , and guessed correctly. :eahigh_file: Yes, I could be wrong, but I would think if we were not getting them he would have just said no! 😉
