My save is broken since the latest patch update

Hi!

As mentioned in the title, I believe my save files became corrupted after upgrading my game to patch 1.121.361. I have never had this issue with previous updates, typically I would only have to upgrade a few mods and every thing would go back to working perfectly. For clarification, I only play with one save.

This time, even after removing all of my mods and tray files from my sims folder, my game is facing a number of issues. Firstly when loading my game, instead of being taken to the saved household, I am kicked back to the map of their residential lot (Willow Creek for example). Then, I am unable to access the majority of my lots (infinite loading screen), whether in build or live mode. Finally, I am having issues with CAS: I tried to modify some of my households (with cas.fulleditmode on) but I can not access or even see traits, they just do not appear on the screen, only the aspiration. 

These are just the issues I have uncovered when trying to fix my game, there are probably others.

Here is everything I have done thus far to test and try to repair:

-Created a backup of my mods and saves files and emptied the ones in the Sims 4 folder.

-Cleared all cache (before every new launch of the game).

-Repaired my game in the EA app (multiple times).

-Deleted my Sims 4 file to launch a clean version of the game which worked fine.

-Introduced only a copy of my save files in the newly created Sims 4 folder (no mods, no CC, no tray): the issues came back. 

-Restored earlier saves and played them: they all presented the same issues. 

If I am right and my save files have indeed been corrupted, is there anything I can do besides cry? Is it fixable, will it be fixed by a later update?
