My sim "doesn't have permission" to use the chess table

Hi folks! I've seen a few threads about this from a year ago or more and there weren't any clear fixes then from what I saw. I suddenly can't use any chess tables. I don't use mods or CC. Ideas?

It's a known bug that seems to only happen during an event.

Came here looking for a solution. When I clink the link supplied above it keeps bringing back to this post. Doesn’t take me to the bug post to click “me too”

  Typical case of too many open tabs. Must have copied the wrong link.
