My sims 4 game is completely broken after new update

my sims 4 game is completely broken. I removed every mod in my game thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, did everything I could to fix it, but nothing's working. First of all, everytime I get into the game, if I accidentally click something outside the game, it doesnt allow me to go back into the game. As well as this issue, it's not allowing me to play a household- just taking me back to the world select menu and if I go into an empty lot I'm hit with the forever loading screen. It would mean a lot if you could help me and fix this issue please. I have tried to contact help, before and they said I would be connected to an advisor, and i waited 2 hours and no-one came and the wait time just continued to go up and up. I understand this is not your fault but I just wanted to raise this as a potential issue. I would really appreciate some help on my issues. Thank you very much.
