My Sims glitch a lot when going to sleep together

Whenever I try to have two Sims go to sleep in the same bed there is always a glitch and get go in even if the only thing in the room is the bed. it eventually works but only if the sims cuddle, otherwise they keep getting in and then immediately out again. Super annoying and started after lovestruck.
