my sims power won't come back on

my sims in my linage save file will do the action of paying the bills on the phone/ the mailbox but the power will not turn back on. The only mod i have is the mcc command center and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have also tried turning off mods and they are paying the bills, but the power will not come back on. I tested on another save file and that sim was able to turn on the power after it was shut off.  I have been playing this save file for a long time and i don't want to delete it. 😭
