my sims won't follow any commands

so basically when I give my Sim anything to do, like sitting down, showering, sleeping, using the computer or working, they won't respond in any way, like it says the command is being completed but the Sim is just standing there doing nothing, also they sometimes just randomly wash their hands without being anywhere near a sink or pull out a drink from nowhere. I tried taking out all the cc I had and the problem was still there, I also tried removing all my saves and restarting and the issue was still there even with other families.

I don't know what to do please help!
