Finally got my game working again (M4 Max Macbook)! Here's what I did, though I don't know which one in particular solved my issues:
- Deleted the following cache files from my Electronics Arts/The Sims 4 folder: localthumbcache.package and avatarcache.package
- Restarted my game and changed my wifi source to my phone hotspot
- Went to Game Options -> Other unchecked the box for "Online social features access", hit apply. Rechecked it and hit apply again.
Voila! Access to my Gallery again and access to the quest, along with claiming all of my event rewards. 💚
