Hello, Devs,
I've been trying to finish since Echoes from the Cave part came out. I tried on 3 characters who are Handiness level 10, have read handiness skill books, no mods, on PC, and I am still 5 ep short of the Wooden Throne. I've doublechecked earlier steps and they are all claimed, and I am starting the first step Echoes From The Cave. The last reward I could claim was Touch Grass Weekly #3. No matter what I do or what character I switch to, I'm still stuck where says I'm 5 ep short of being able to make the Wooden Throne, and the stuck quest prompt says that it requires handiness. It doesn't even show up on my furnishings to create at the work bench (it just says 'toilet')! I really don't like timed events, something goes wrong each time, and now it's so off the rails there's only 5 days left and I can't even complete it to get the sandals I wanted to get. 😩

I have attached screencaps so hopefully Devs can see what's going on.

I just updated the game today, 7/30, and it's still the same, still locked out because of 5ep.

I've done the other tasks. Look at pics and tell me what task I did not do, because it's showing I've done everything up to the 'wooden throne' which won't appear because somewhere I can't find the 5 ep that I need to unlock the recipe. I've read articles, including GameRant, but I've done previous steps and still stuck. Is the recipe in the mailbox? Is it in the inventory? Does it auto unlock? Because I've done all the steps up to collecting Touching Grass #3, I've made countless reclaimed tables and chairs trying to trigger it, and nothing is working.

Please devs, view all images and let me know what step did I miss?

You need to do the “Have a Sim spend time Outdoors” or “Return to Desert Bloom Park” first so that you can get the points needed to claim the wooden throne. You don’t have to do the tasks in the order that they are shown on the screen. You need to do the other tasks first, to get the required points. Then you will have enough points, so you can claim the wooden throne. Then the option will appear to craft it on the woodworking table.

FIXED 8-1-25: Actually I didn't have to do anything at all! I had already finished those steps (I had been outdoors and to that park with my sims multiple times, why didn't it trigger before?) and there was nothing left to do so I was stuck at -5ep. I just logged in this morning and it's suddenly bumped forward and opened up the recipe on the handycraft table. Didn't do anything different or change anything, just logged in...maybe I just needed yet another restart of the game? Anyway, it's all better now and I'm very happy I can continue. Thanks! :)
