New option
Make an option like the stop aging one but with fat and muscles.Like i make my sim like i whant in the sim creator and then when i play he stops getting fat muscles.
An option for stopping fat/muscle gain or loss sounds good. I always thought of a CAS setting where you could set their "metabolism" to go with the weight slider. 'Cause there are Sims you'd like to stay their usual appearance, but others you may want to change in a single save file. One family member may have a slow metabolism and has always struggled with losing fat no matter how much they exercise and eat healthy. Another eats balanced meals, but never exercises and yet stays the same fat and muscle ratio no matter what. One is the sort who could eat all the high carbs and protein-packed foods they can, but struggle gaining the fat to turn into the muscle mass they desire. Townies and households you don't play in currently will not change in appearance because they show up everywhere. (I had a Sim I had finished playing with but kept in the world and she kept jogging around the household I was playing in. It was fun at first... until she had lost her original figure and was incredibly lean. It was kind of disturbing.)
This is a good point. I have some Sims that are a different size everytime I see them and it's quite drastic. I don't want all of my Sims to need to be at Fitness Skill level 10 to stay the same size. It's not realistic. I don't want all of them to be muscle bound either. I want them all to be different.
When I move on from a household I leave them as I want them to be but then see some of them around they've changed dramatically and they're not the way I left them. It's bad enough they are wearing odd random outfits.
I have one who is a business woman and a busy mother who keeps virtually doubling in size. I got her up to Fitness Skill 4, because her husband is an astronaut so they have gym facilities at home. She's really busy and she can't always be working out, besides it doesn't fit her personality. I swear I see her around and one day she's skinnier than I left her but the next time she's much bigger. I don't really want weight obsessed Sims lol, I want that variety. Besides, IRL people don't need constant gym activity or jogging as things like walking also count. Even dancing counts towards fitness.
@simsplayer818 You make excellent points. Yes, to me I like the way I've done it in the past... if I wanted a change in physical appearance (weight loss/fitness, for instance), I go into that household and either make that change in CAS or play them to get the change in place. Then when I leave I assume they will stay like that, whether or not they go to the gym, etc. Same with NPCs. That would be the type of setting I would want added, as that's what I'm accustomed to and what I prefer.
I'm a rather 'type A' player, and having the ability to control things within certain parameters is important to me in Sims. I think this appearance area falls into that category. 👍
