No Police Station

Question

Hi,&nbsp;
I have the sims 4 get to work expansion pack, everything is fine until i want a sim to work as a detective. When i want to join them at work, there is no police station and all the other sims that would be in the police station are all stood outside. I'm unable to do anything except for go on patrol! What would the issue be with this? TIA
