Not available for this lot.

I’m trying to place a lot that I made and saved to my gallery into a different world but wherever I place it, it says “Not available for this lot.” I’ve already tried doing it from both Build Mode and the Gallery but it still doesn’t work.

    Here are steps to troubleshoot the "not available for this lot" error in The Sims 4.

    Residential rental lots can only be placed on a lot that’s already set to residential rental:

    1. Place your original lot.
    2. Go into the lot, change the lot type to residential rental.
    3. Save.
    4. Place lot from Gallery.

    @pestonoodl Residential rental lots can only be placed on a lot that’s already set to residential rental, for some reason. So to place your original lot, you’d need to go into the lot, change the lot type to residential rental, save, then place the lot from the gallery.

    @ErykaNeko I mean… the fact you have to change the lot type first might be a bug? 🤷🏼‍♀️

    But at least there’s a possible workaround for it.

    @PipMenace Yeah.. lol. I confess it had me dorked to. I thought it was an ' issue ' but yeah... easy fix / workaround. I just got lucky and figured it out tinkering with fixing my cc. 😉
    Change lot first. :P
