Not getting University Job Buff

My sim is graduating from Uni, but isn't getting the job buff. Their starting at the connections state, but not the collage one. They got the diploma, picture, and it's in the simology panel, but it's not giving the job buff at all. This is now the 2nd sim to do this. I never moved this sim from the lot, unlike the other, and i got the same outcome. It's getting frustrating, because I payed for this pack and i can't even use it.
