Please follow these steps to test  your game on vanilla game with no mods/cc

• Create a backup of your save game
• Move your mods folder to the desktop
• Delete the following files from your user folder.
  • localthumbcache
  • Any lastException Files
  • Any LastCrash files.
• Test on the backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

If you continue to get a lastException after that (it won't be ingame but you can find it in your documents folder), open the file with a text editor and copy/paste the content of that.

MY GAME HAS NO MODS!!!!!

THIS IS AN EA ISSUE!

Stop telling me to remove mods folder, I've done that 1,000 times, the game is not right. 

My game runs fine, or seems to, without Tray folder. But when I add back the tray folder I get this error and LE. I reinstalled BE to help identify the LE but it is not much help much like this forum and EA overall. This started 2 updates ago and continues to be an issue. How is this supposed to be helpful when I cannot comment or give addition information? I am getting quite aggravated.

This thread should not be locked, you should be able to post. The button is called comment on the first post  but you can also just scroll down to where it says leave a comment.

Please the correct info which isn't a BE exception (which is a mod) but the full vanilla game LastException you can find in your documents folder.

have you tried narrowing down which files in the tray folder are causing the LE ?

so to fix this, I had to revert to an earlier save file and forget about the most recent saves. I didn't lose much but a few months of game play and progress which is annoying but not too awful.

No. I had other LE's after last update but those were traced to mods that I removed to resolve those.
