Pet eye colors broken

Hello--as described I am having issues with the pets eye color options going missing from my game. I posted about this once before but figured I'd make a new post. When I have an animal either through adoption or from CAS, the eyes always match the color of the pets fur and the option to change it to something else is completely bugged. I have tried everything--resetting my folder, repairing the game, the 50/50 method, etc.

One thing I did notice is that when I open it through a vanilla game it seems to be fine, but as soon as I add my saves back into the folder (with nothing else like cc or mods added in yet) The issue seems to appear again, so it's as if it is not my custom content but possibly my saves perhaps? Any help for this would be greatly appreciated!
