Platforms make rooms separate from house

Whenever I use platforms in my house, the room with the platform becomes separated from the house. If I want to move the whole house, any rooms with platforms are left behind. Also, it seems that the roofing tool does not recognize houses with platforms as being there. The roof will place inside the house instead of on top of it. Is there a fix for this? I can’t find anyone else is reporting this issue.

Is there a ceiling in this triangular area? Or is there a ceiling there only? Areas with ceilings and areas without ceilings do not count as one room. Also, places with different foundation heights are not counted as one room.
Please check.
