@angieg112371 It would be easier if you linked the product pages for each laptop. The first one sounds like it would have a dedicated graphics card as well, although you didn't list one; and in that case, it would be better than the second by either a small or perhaps a significant margin, depending on which card it had. If it doesn't have a dedicated GPU though, the second one would be better.
If you'd like other suggestions for a new laptop, I can look for a few. Just list your budget and country, as well as any other considerations that matter to you, e.g. hard drive space, screen size, etc.
The first one has Nvidia GeForce gtx 1050

@angieg112371 Generally speaking, the Intel Core i5-8300H is definitely a better processor than the AMD Ryzen 5 2500U and the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card is slightly faster than the Radeon RX 560X. The first laptop is likely better than the second but there could still be other considerations here. It would be best if you could link the product pages so someone like @puzzlezaddict could review the complete specs and give you further advice.

@angieg112371 Yes, that first one is a better option. And it's probably about as good as you could do for $500. That laptop should handle Sims 4 on at least a mix of high and ultra graphics settings, or perhaps all ultra if you don't have all the expansion packs.
New laptops with the same hardware start around $600 right now; laptops with faster graphics cards look to be around $700 and up. If you did want to see more options, I could find a few. But for $500, the Acer is a very good choice.
