Put the breaks on dlc until they fix the game?

Is it just me or is anyone else sick of the constant bugs, crashes, lag issues, and overpriced dlc?

It seems like every new update brings more issues than meaningful fixes. the games performance (at least on PS4) is abysmal to say the least. Your Sims drop their tasks as soon as you issue them, they take hours to eat some toast and cheese and they neglect their kids as if they wish social services would just whisk them away. Oh and the LAG!

These issues seem to get worse as soon as you move out of anything bigger than a basic starter home! You want to add a few new build mode items to get your house looking good or to improve your Sims skills? You want a bigger social circle than that one neighbor who you don't like but keeps asking you to hang out at their house? We'll prepare yourself, there be bugs on the horizon!

Despite the countless issues still plaguing the game, EA/Maxis still insist on farting out expansion, game and stuff packs so they can burn a hole in your wallet the size of the mariana trench. Does anyone else feel like they should maybe take a back seat on all the "content" until they get the rest of the game working at an acceptable level? Especially considering that every new pack brings its own army of bugs with it?

I'm curious what everyone else's thoughts are on this.

Yours sincerely, the man who's was duped by EA 😉
