@mayathesim Since this did not sound like my past experiences with purchasing a restaurant I went into my game and tried having my sim purchase one to see if anything was different currently, and I don't see the issue you describe in my game currently, unless I am misunderstanding. I will add screenshots of what happened in my game. Could you please clarify what is different when you do this in your game and add screenshots also, like with mine? Thank you!
Okay, first I had my sim purchase the restaurant, and as you said, the sim turns up automatically at the restaurant with the popup about purchase and if they want to transfer funds:
Next I click the "Confirm Transfer" button and it automatically changes to this screen:
If this is not what you see can you please do and answer a few things for me?
- Is your game up to date? [Open Origin, click ‘Game Library’ then right-click Sims 4 > Update Game]
- Do you have this issue having another family purchase a restaurant?
- Does the family have remaining funds? Can you please run a game repair:
[ Open Origin, click ‘Game Library’ then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game ]. Make sure to let it run until it has completed all repairs (it will do the base-game first, then run through each of your expansions/packs). - Can you please try this in a new games save?
- Do you have, or have you ever had in your game, Mods or CC?
