This was the BIG disappointment for me as well. What's even the point of building up your horse's skills for hours, if your just going to send them off to be phased out for a few minutes, then a pop up screen that says you won a medal? Not even background sounds of crowds cheering.  Very lacklustre to say the least. Unless I intend to sell my horses, I see no point in even wasting the time training them. 

I was really hoping for something "New" from this expansion. But sadly, nothing new came. Sure, you got some color pallets and objects, all stuff you could download as free custom CC anyways. Some new music you could download and install free in a playable music file. So really, the only "paid new" you get, is an over demanding horse with a very underwhelming payoff for the time and effort you put into it. .
