@haechanslover Have you tested without mods/CC? Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.

@luthienrising In order for me to see the issue with my save, I have to save before exiting. The problem I'm having is that I lose progress either way. If I don't save and exit, I lose my progress. When I save and exit, I lose progress because my household deletes itself. I'm currently going through old saves and doing a 50/50 with mods to see if one mod is making this happen, but so far I'm not having any luck. I'm down to my last set of saves as the rest of them are corrupted/the household is deleted. Would you like me to send some images of what's happening?

@haechanslover Sorry, of course you have to save this time to test. That was my quick copy-paste how-to. Copy your whole Saves folder to your desktop. That way you'll have a pre-testing version to come back to.

@luthienrising Update: I went through all my mods and cc and I am still having the issue even without them in. Any suggestions?

@haechanslover Not all issues with houseload loading are mod-related. Since yours happens with no mods, I'll move you and your refreshed, reorganized Mods folder to Game Issues.

Hi @haechanslover 

Try the following

• Close the game
• Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
• Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
• Close the game again
• Copy JUST your save game from  Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Saves
• Start your save
• Check if you still have the error
• Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

Hi @crinrict, I did as you instructed, and the issue is still happening. I played through gameplay for 30 minutes to make sure, and my game saved and exited, which is new when I exit from this specific household, but when I reopened to see if the bug was still persisting, my household was deleted, so now I'm not sure what else to do.

@crinrict Yes, the household is completely deleted I found that when I go into cas, travel to different worlds, or try to switch between multiple households in my save, that’s when they delete. If I play another household, I can save and exit and the Sasaki household will be fine, but when I switch to their household, save, and exit they delete. In some instances when I was testing, I’d go into cas and they’d be gone and a random person would be there, and when I exit cas without saving, I’d get kicked to manage world and there’d be glitching blue squares instead of the sims.
