    If you’re using a Mac, you might be able to find it using your computer’s Go > Go to folder option. Then type in “~/Applications/The Sims 4/contents/res” (without the quotation marks) and hopefully it should show up there. Then you would just double-click the camera.ini and it will automatically open in TextEdit, from which you can edit it to true.

    I hope this helps!

    On mac unfortunatly when i open the file there are only numers. there is no true or false setting. I only see the setting for the positon of my saved camera angles. Even when the file is opened in a coding program.

    @maugrins

    You're opening the wrong file. To get to the Camera.ini file:

    1. Right click on the base game in your Applications folder, or wherever you have the game installed to
    2. Select Show Package Contents
    3. Navigate through to Contents > res > Camera.ini
    4. Right click on the Camera.ini file and select Open with > and choose TextEdit
    5. Once the file is open hold down CMD and press F to bring up the search console
    6. Type in ignore and hit Enter
    7. Once you found the right line change the value to True and close the file. Save if prompted.

    @Bluebellflora Thank you so much!! I figured it out using your instructions and now my camera is so smooth. I'm so happy.

  • @Bluebellflora Hi, i'm still stuck at step 3 and struggle to find my camera.ini file. I had used the CMD + F but it show up nothing. I can't locate file camera.ini in my resources folder. Here's my screenshot. The first pic is the content folder, and the second one is the resources folder.
