btw Idk how to use script mods so if its a script mod it won't work I tried and it broke my sims mods
@FiretheSky I'm a bit confused. You said your Sims 4 is in your Mods folder? Would you mind sharing screenshots of your Sims 4 folder and Mods folder? Please include the full path at the top. You can add as an attachment or insert picture. They should look like this...
@FiretheSky Are you saying your Sims 4 game folder is within your mods folder? I doubt this will work. Judging from what you said about moving folders back and forth, the safest way to have your game run in a proper manner without crashing and/or error warnings is, to re-install TS4 (meaning uninstall first, then install). Make sure that you copy your "saves" and "Tray" folders to a safe place (like on the desktop of your PC) in order to keep your saves, builds and households (if you'd like to keep your in-game screenshots and photos, you may also back up your "Screenshots" folder as well).
Having said that, now to the YouTube video you were referring to earlier. It only shows how to cheat relationships between Sims in order to get the interaction "Try for baby", nothing more. As several people already pointed out, there is actually no way to force or remove pregnancies at this time because EA removed those cheats years ago. You can reactivate the old cheats only by using mods. One final tip: to prevent having accidental pregnancies in the future, you may disable the pregnancy settings in the options menu of CAS.
do I have to pay again if I do? if I have to pay again I'd rather have no mods.
@FiretheSky I'm not going to lie. Your folders are a bit of a mess and I have no idea how that happened. I don't know what you mean by having to pay again. You have all the right stuff, it's just a bit jumbled. There should be nothing for you to pay for. You have program files in a folder within your mods folder, so please to take one more screenshot of your C: Program Files (x86) Origin Games The Sims 4 folder. It should look like this...
@FiretheSky One, regarding your folder configuration, I am seeing things that shouldn't be in there. The "mods" folder is essentially empty and should stay empty unless you are using mods. The files in your "mods" folder are not mods but actually core elements of the game itself. Could you take screenshots of the following folders?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
Two, you don't have to pay anything if you re-install. It just takes up time, that's all.
In any case, copy and paste your "saves", "Tray" and "Screenshots" folders onto your desktop to be on the safe side. It looks like, you'll be better off if you do a re-install. If you are not sure how to do that, let us know. We'll guide you through.
@FiretheSky It looks like @Japanic2012 is going to help you so I'm going to bow out. I don't want to create any confusion. I hope you're able to resolve the problems you're having! 🙂
@JonaO703 It seems we both were posting at the same time. Didn't see your reply when I started my latest post, sorry for the confusion 😬
ok I'll reinstall btw I'm on windows 10 so IDK what those are, is that a mac thing?
and if it's not just a mac thing, I have never traveled to the C drive before
it says all my packs will be removed. does it reinstall with the game itself?
edit: I just searched it up and yes all of it reinstalls with the game
@FiretheSky It's not a Mac thing but never mind. If you have managed to re-install your game you should be fine.
