Re: Map Editor for Sims 4.
@joemiller1972 Some community lots are editable, all residential lots are editable or you can bulldoze them, except those lots that are only 'show' during play (i.e. - homes and buildings that are only a facade). So your ability to edit community areas will vary.
Community buildings that are editable can be accessed through 'world' mode for editing.
The bb.enablefreebuild cheat will allow you to edit hidden lots and worlds like Sylvan Glades, the Hospital, or Police Station. I believe it also works in Granite Falls and Selvadorada.
But... not all lots can be inhabited normally by the sims.
For the purposes of your challenge you're likely looking for lots that the sims can live in.
You can create additional game-saves and add other homes in those, but each game-save will not interact with other game-saves.
If your challenge needs all of the sims to be living in the same game-save you may want to add packs to add additional worlds.
Increasing the number of packs that you own will also increase the number of lots. Check on the particular pack. For instance:
- "Get Together" adds Windenberg, a beautiful town
- "Cats & Dogs" adds Brindleton Bay - a charming bayside town in New England style
- "City Living" adds San Myshuno - a city with penthouses and apartments
- "Get to Work" adds Magnolia Promenade which has 4 lots only
- "Vampires" adds Forgotten Hollow
- "Get Famous" adds De Sol Valley
- "Strangerville" adds Strangerville
- "Island Living" adds Sulani (a gorgeous island town)
- "Realm of Magic" adds Glimmerbrook (which includes a hidden lot and only 4 regular lots, if memory serves)
- "Discover University" adds Britechester, a small college town with only a few lots plus two university campuses with dorms
