Re: Question-How Much Can You Change Fixed Scenario Households?
Since no one has replied, I've bucked up the courage to test this myself. I was fully prepared to scrap the Household if changing them broke the Scenario, but I was pleasantly surprised. I tested with the Martinez family and took several incremental steps. First, I engaged FullEditMode, and changed the gender of Pablo and Leonardo. The Scenario remained active. I saved, then went back in and shortened Leonardo's first name to Leona. The Scenario still held and even recognized Leona as counting toward the "Give Sofia and Leonardo a Bath or Shower" objective, even though the wording never changed. I saved and went back into CAS again and changed Pablo's first name to Paulina. The Scenario still remained active. I'm not going to bother changing the last names, as I don't see it as necessary, and is the most likely element to break it, since it's the story of the Martinez family. If this test holds up for the Family Fortune Scenario as well, it should be even simpler since Eddie is an established viable female name, and Eddie is the only male character in the Scenario, so a simple gender swap of the single character should suffice. Seems we have more freedom to manipulate than I initially suspected. I hope this helps others who might have similar playstyles.
Edit: I went through the entire Scenario and completed it without incident, so I can say with a fair degree of confidence that it's safe to make significant changes to the established/provided Sims.
