@JonaO703 Ah right I get you 😉 I never use that probably for the exact reasons you're talking about. Because it's too restrictive isn't it. It's either or and that could do with being just done away with altogether I think. I don't know if it's the same on all formats but the last time I checked I had to select one of those boxes, they were mandatory whereas others can be left unchecked. So I found the only way to really customise it was in CAS, which takes time.
Particularly with non binary Sims I've mentioned this before on the subject of uniforms I feel like non binary Sims are a great addition but there are still too many binary choices in the game. The customisation panel there has been opened up already in so many ways but the clothing wasn't part of that and it doesn't quite make sense as it is.
It's a subject close to my heart because of a couple of young people I know and I've totally been guided by their experiences. The game is certainly moving in the right direction but if they could just fix this particular problem it would be just about there, I think. But it would be helpful in other ways too, just to open up all the clothing anyway.
