@MishokuOni, if you or nobody in your real-life house plays your game for several days, your Sims will be where they last were when you return.🙂  For example, when I was so sick that I went to the hospital and then had a long recovery, there were months that I couldn't play my game, but all my Save Games in The Sims 4 were as if no time had passed, because in the game, no time had actually passed! :eahigh_file:

The only time things will happen without your knowledge is if you play rotationally, which would mean you play one family (let say a family that you created), and then go and play another family (like the Goths or the Landgraabs) on the same Save Game.  When you come back to your original family, they might have met new people, or aged etc.🤨  But they won't starve, because the game makes them find something to eat if their hunger level is too low.😇  If you don't want some of your families changing when you aren't playing them, then you can do what I usually do, which is play each family on their own Save Game. 😉
