Re: What moodlet has your sim been stuck with?

@Wholesome_Goth two work-arounds, buy an umbrella may help keep sun off Vampire sims. I also had same problem, but it usually only lasted a few sim hrs or maybe and hr. There is some 'vampire' perk that can help reduce daylight burns or make them worse. Also, one thing I consider when playing a vampire sims is to make sure I get a work at home job for them, just in case of the day (it probably helps),most of the time I play with the money code on, but lately I have switched on/off to old-fashioned gameplay of no money code to try out different things. It does sound like a bug that the sim is stuck inside and still getting burned, so that sounds like an issue (one thing that might help though I've never tried), try selling all your windows, and maybe that might help or find a basement, maybe it's just the sun from the windows, though I remember playing a vampire sim once and windows were not usually a problem (it would make sense to put curtains on them for story-telling purposes), but I can't recall if I had curtains on them or not, or yeah, just put curtains instead of selling but not all curtains are thick either, so just play around with a few of those things and maybe you can correct it. If not then I guess report it as a bug. I also remember having a problem with vampires being 'uncomfortable' in alot of scenarios, and I saved up some sims points by making a lot (using money codes specifically so I could buy a mansion, do the steps to make a lot, mansion baron or find one from gallery, then you'll get an automatic 4000 sim points)...you can use those points to buy one or two traits that can help vampire/or other special sims who need a little extra help in moods. There is something that counter-acts uncomfortable, just like loner sims who are around strangers too much get embarrassed too easily, so you have to buy traits to try to counter that (if you don't want to 'edit' sims traits from the edit mode, say you like loner trait but want to sort of balance it off by getting 'not embarrassed trait' from sim store [that's what I do anyway]. Or, counter vampires 'uncomfortable', by another one in the store, I'm blanking on the name of the other at the moment. I hope some of these ideas can help a little.

@sailornaru I am already aware of all you have mentioned. 😁

While it is annoying to have occur, I just thought it fun to see what moodlet other's Sims are currently stuck with...if they too have this annoying issue.

@Wholesome_Goth Ok, well just trying to help or be creative with work. You may know more about it than me and so forth, but I figure there isn't often many replies to people, so often if you are lucky just one or two, IDK so I just try to engage if I am aware of certain issues and think I can help. I never know what type of 'knowledge' anyone brings to the table (I mean how could I possible know any of that unless someone tells you really). I try to be helpful, but I know it may or may not help in some cases. I have had similar things happen, but not exactly as you put it. Two things I forgot, remember you can live in the lot that came with Vampires (the hallow) usually is the only 'good' lot to really play a vampire or if you have a vamp in another lot, buy the weather changer and change it to rainy or cloudy might help keep the sun from your vampire sim, I tell you that weather machine can be useful sometimes. But that probably won't fix an already broken mechanic I guess and is really something that has to be patched or something specific that would need to be done.
